2005 was full of tragedy and triumph, for the people of New Orleans. I have had a love for the fleur de lis symbol from my years studying Art and Interior Design. After Katrina hit the Gulf Coast, my phone began ringing off the hook for my one fleur de lis soap product. The fleur de lis symbol dates back to the French Empire and has always been a part of the culture of New Orleans. After Katrina it became a symbol of hope, courage, and the rebirth of the city. Over the years we have added many fleur de lis soap products, making it our number one selling product in specialty retail shops.
